Bowe used a banned diuretic to lose weight during training camp, and had been suspended without pay for four games for violating the NFL's policy against performance-enhancing drugs. Bowe has decided not to appeal the decision.

Former Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson signed a one-year contract with the Cincinnati on Tuesday morning. Terms of the deal have not been released. Bengals coach Marvin Lewis says Johnson will be fourth on the depth chart.
